Intel Quad Core Xeon E3-1260L upgrade - HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8

I've decided to decommission my HP MicroServer N54L to save power and make my living room a bit quieter (now I sleep next to the server). So I decided to upgrade my Gen8 MicroServer from the Xeon E3-1220L V1 dual core to the Quad Core Xeon E3-1260L. I've been covering the FreeNAS part of the deal in another series. Here I just register heat and power consumption before and after.

I don't expect any performance increases, since my current setup can already saturate both Gigabit Ethernet connections with FreeNAS. I just want the system to have more room to breath since it will be also running in a jail my webserver, a database, and perhaps one or two VMs.
