Fukai Japanese White Pine aka Pinus parviflora 'Fukai'

My mom bought this White Pine for me way back in April and I've been a little unsure what to do with it. Today I decided to wire a curve into it, which also meant taking out some extra branches and candles.

I dipped the cuttings in rooting hormone and potted them up. I've never looked up how to take pine cuttings. I'm not sure if they are easy to root, so like any of this; it's just one big experiment to see what happens.
