3rd December is celebrated worldwide as World Disability Day, a day dedicated to promoting awareness, inclusion, and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.

On this special occasion, Hope Centre for Speech Therapy and Autism proudly celebrated World Disability Day at Rakh Bagh, Ludhiana, in collaboration with the District Special Olympics Association. The event aimed to provide meaningful exposure and social interaction opportunities for our children and their parents.

We were honoured by the gracious presence of our Chief Guest, Mr Himanshu Jain, Deputy Commissioner, whose valuable support and encouragement made the event even more special.

During the program, we also conducted parent awareness sessions focusing on:

Speech Delay in Children
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Speech and communication disorders such as Aphasia, Dysarthria, and related conditions

In addition, various outdoor and sensory-based activities were organised, including playground games and rides. These activities helped children improve their social, emotional, and sensory integration skills, promoting confidence, joy, and overall development.
