Ka-Bar Big Boss By Mike Snody Detailed Overview and Unboxing

This is an unboxing and detailed overview of the Ka-Bar Big Boss fixed blade knife designed by Mike Snody.
This is a relatively inexpensive S35VN full tang fixed blade.
In this video I discuss some of the philosophies of use, specifications, competitive options. I also take the knife apart and show you what lies beneath the handle.

This knife is marketed as a tactical fixed blade. In my opinion, due to the lack of traction plan on this knife, and slow deploying sheath, I categorize this knife as a hiking utility knife, that is capable of light to heavy camp tasks such as food prep to some basic batoning. With a 4 and 1/2 inch blade, it will serve you well for your basic camping and hiking knife needs. This knife appears like it can take some abuse due to its thick S35VN full tang blade. It should be relatively corrosion resistant, while easily taking a razor sharp edge relatively easily. An actual review video will come once I get some aggressive use on this blade.

A few things to note:
-This knife will not strike a fire steel.
-This knife can not easily be wrapped in paracord as the tang is not milled out, it is literally just a slab of steel (as seen in this video).
