HEY EVERYONE! I hope you all had an amazing Valentine’s day! Today is very special day to me because I get to share a very cool Music Video with you all. It’s something very different with what I usually make as a cinematographer but this came out good in my opinion nonetheless. I wanted to make a video or something special for the return of Casilofi. Casilofi is the name of Sander Van Dijck’s artist name before he became San Holo as y’all know him today. He produced indie/creative/experimental music as Casilofi by using small beats and using real instruments onto his laptop to create he made for his art. The first taste of return we got from Casilofi was in San Holo’s “the trip” EP. Then at the end of 2018 we got our first EP officially from Casilofi “Create Create Create.” The song “Little Treasure is my favorite and what inspired me to make this. I used clips of me and my trip to LA and old clips of Sander in his Casilofi days. I made and turned it into a old film look to give the aestheticness of it.
