Brain Stimulation is a technique that enables non-invasive manipulation of the brain. It can be used to understand how the brain works. However, the details of how stimulation affects the brain is poorly understood. We utilized computational modelling to uncover the brain mechanisms that could be underlying the brain's response to stimulation. Unlike previous studies that simulate recordings during invasive procedures, our model simulates neural responses from a hand muscle. Hence, our model can potentially be used in a wide range of cognitive neuroscience and medical research settings.
