Friendships That Strengthen the Journey

In this message, we were reminded that real friendship is a blessing and a strength given by God. Two are better than one because we share success, lift one another when we fall, protect each other, and build something stronger together. Friendship is not casual; it is intentional and covenantal. Abraham was called a friend of God because of his trust, obedience, sacrifice, and shared commitment to God’s purpose. Scripture shows us powerful examples of friendship—God and Moses, David and Jonathan, Ruth and Naomi, Esther and Mordecai, Jesus and Lazarus, Jesus with Peter, James and John, and Paul with Barnabas. True friends can be trusted with fears, faults, disappointments, hopes, dreams, and secrets. At Journey Center Global, we are called to be more than co-church members. We are called into real Konnection, moving one another toward wholeness and functionality. Blessed if you have one. Blessed if you are one.
