Finely laid out township, orderly and clean.

Fine summer day not a cloud in a sky

Horses being ridden in every which a way,

dogs sleeping and Bustling activity all over this day.

You knew your neighbors and helped when they asked,
Depending on good will and integrity

eased the sometime hardship of just being alive


Newspapers print out the latest news,
Bible study and church services bring peace of mind
Report cards are issued to the pupils in school.
Sheriff patrols to uphold the rule.

The bars and diners meet out their fare
The stores all get their share.
The whole scene is perfect in every single way,
But soon it would all just simply all go away.
