New 2025 Kia Sportage Teased and Rendered

Kia is gearing up to reveal the refreshed 2025 Sportage, following recent sightings and a new teaser clip shared on YouTube. The latest sneak peek offers a glimpse of the SUV's updated design, hinting at a more refined look ahead of its official unveiling in November 2024. Although it may seem like a brand-new model, the 2025 Sportage is actually a mid-cycle update of the existing fifth generation that has been around for four years.

For now, our friends at Kolesa have rendered a few images predicting what the new SUV could look like.

Kia’s designers have subtly enhanced the exterior, featuring updated daytime running lights, a reworked grille, and a refreshed rear with new taillight patterns. Inside, the big highlight is a new curved display on the dashboard and a sleek two-spoke steering wheel. The center console has also been slightly reworked, with potential improvements to the controls and trim materials.

These changes will not only apply to the North American long-wheelbase version but also to the short-wheelbase models available in Europe and other markets. Underneath, the Sportage remains mechanically similar, retaining its connection to the Hyundai Tucson. Expect a continuation of the current gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Full details will be revealed in November, with the updated model set to launch as a 2026 version in the United States.
