Gordon starts to grind the 12" mirror by hand, on the powered turntable, starting with 25-micron Microgrit abrasive. He shows how to center the ceramic tile tool on the turntable, and shows the marks left on the mirror blank from the diamond-tool generation of the curve. The grinding strategy is discussed, with hints about deciding how long to grind at this 25-micron level.
