2025 Buick Encore: More Premium Than Luxury

Buick has rebranded itself for the modern era, recently updating its tri-shield logo and narrowing its focus to a fleet of premium SUVs. Gone are the days of the floating road boats your grandparents once drove, and here to stay is a refreshed brand of American refinement.

For 2025, the Buick Encore GX (the full name of the car!) is offered in various FWD or AWD set ups, with either a 1.2L or 1.3L turbo engine, each with just 3-cylinders. Our test car is an AWD Sport Touring model, the mid-range offering in a three-trim set up that tops out with the Avenir model at just under $33K.
