Mitsubishi SRM2 Indexable Ball Nose cutters are designed to efficiently perform rough to semi-finish copy and profile machining operations common to the Die and Mold Industry. The SRM2 is manufactured from a High Heat-Resistant alloy for long life. The heat resistant body in combination with our key-type insert clamp design insures cutter repeatability index after index under the most demanding applications.

SRM2 shanks are shrink fit ready, feature a heel cut body relief and tool diameters less than 1+1/2 have Coolant/Air thru capabilities standard.

The SRM2 is available in standard ball, long edge and screw on head designs. To economically accommodate a wide variety of applications with one tool, Mitsubishi SRM2 inserts have two cutting edges and are available in three chip breakers and three Miracle Coated grades -VP15TF, VP20RT and VP30RT-.
