Описание к видео The Great Pyramid of Giza. Was it Smooth? or Stepped?

Is it possible that the Great Pyramid (Khufu's Pyramid) was not smooth like Khafre's Pyramid?! The casing stones were taken during the 17th, 18th, and even 19th centuries (not very long ago in terms of Egyptian history). Didn't anybody do any paintings of the pyramids back in 1600? or even 1500? ??? What evidence is there that the Great Pyramid was smooth!
I found some drawings by and Englishman in the 1600's and he drew a STEPPED pyramid.
Is there a painting of the Great Pyramids in the Cairo Museum that is 400 years old? Seems like there should be.
