When both Vata and Pitta doshas go out of balance at the same time, it can create a confusing and intense state in the body. Vata’s dryness and movement can make Pitta’s heat and sharpness worse, leading to problems like digestive issues, skin rashes, anger or irritability, anxiety, trouble sleeping, and joint pain.
To bring balance, you need a gentle and complete approach, one that calms both doshas. This includes simple lifestyle changes, eating foods that are both grounding and cooling (based on the season), and therapies like warm oil massage (Abhyanga), Shirodhara, and meditation.
