✳️ ONE ABSCONDING PROCLAIMED OFFENDER (PO) WANTED IN AN ACCIDENT CASE NABBED BY THE STAFF OF PS R.K. PURAM/SWD.
✳️ THE ACCUSED PERSON WAS NOT APPEARING IN COURT FOR LAST 5 YEARS AND ARRESTED WITH THE HELP OF TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE.
✳️ THE ACCUSED WAS DECLARED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER BY THE HON’BLE COURT VIDE ORDER DATED 22.04.2024.
✳️ ACCUSED HAD DELIBERATELY CHANGED HIS ADDRESS AND MOBILE NUMBER TO DUPE THE POLICE AND HON’BLE COURT.

The staff of Police Station R.K. Puram, South West district had done a commendable job by arresting one absconding proclaimed offender namely Jitender Tiwari S/o Sh. Rajpal Tiwari R/o H. No. 32, Mujfara, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Age 35 years.

INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST:
On 28.03.2015, a case vide FIR No. 245/2015, u/s 279/336 IPC, PS R.K. Puram was registered on the complaint of Mr. Vinod Kumar alleging therein that on 28.03.2015, while he was driving his car, the alleged truck driver Jitender Tiwari S/o Sh. Rajpal Tiwari R/o H. No. 32, Mujfara, Aligarh, U.P., rashly and negligently overtook his car, resulting in an accident. During the investigation, the accused was arrested in the case and a charge sheet was filed against him after completion of the investigation.
Accused Jitender Tiwari never appeared before the Hon’ble court in the present matter and kept on absconding from the process of law. Efforts were made by the process servers to trace him but in vain. He changed his mobile number and never visited his native village address mentioned in the record. The Hon’ble court of Ms. Neha Priya, Ld. ACMM, Patiala House Courts, Delhi, declared him a proclaimed offender vide order dated 22-04-2024.
In the ongoing drive to nab proclaimed offenders, absconding criminals, and bail/parole jumpers, a team of dedicated police officers from PS R.K. Puram, led by Insp. Ravinder Kumar Tyagi, SHO/PS R.K. Puram, comprising HC Ashok, Ct. Jasvir and Ct. Ankur was formed under the close supervision of Dr. Garima Tiwari, ACP/Sub Division Vasant Vihar, Delhi. The team collected technical and manual information to trace this proclaimed offender. On 18.05.2024, the team succeeded in apprehending accused Jitender Tiwari S/o Sh. Rajpal Tiwari from Singhu Border, Delhi, where he used to park his truck in the union parking.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:
Accused Jitender Tiwari S/o Sh. Rajpal Tiwari R/o Aligarh, UP, has studied up to 10th class. He is a professional truck driver and used to remain out of the village for work. He changed his mobile number to evade the process of law.

The proclaimed offender Jitender Tiwari was produced before the Hon’ble court & sent to J/C.
