Shooting a roll of HP5 in a post-war vintage camera...With mixed results! The Ensign Ful-Vue 6x6

Описание к видео Shooting a roll of HP5 in a post-war vintage camera...With mixed results! The Ensign Ful-Vue 6x6

The Ensign Ful-Vue is a quirky little 6x6 camera that is only marginally wider than a roll of 120 film. I think it's a beautiful camera, and after a good hour of taking it apart, cleaning, and then even more cleaning, I was ready to test it out.

The aperture on the camera is f11, and the shutter speed is around 1/30, so it's not a camera for sports photography, fast-paced street photography, or... I don't know what it's for unless you have exceptionally steady hands (there are no tripod connections with the Ensign). I forgot to say in the video that there is also a bulb function for shooting.

I have to say, though, that I absolutely loved shooting with the camera, which also drew much attention. It only cost me a couple of pounds, and the roll of 120 HP5 is another fiver, so the hours of fun I had with it all (including the developing at home and scanning) is good value to me.
