I reached out to Bear Archery to see if they wanted to take part in the 2024 ArcheryTalk Hunting Bow Shootout. They said yes...but they wanted to send a more budget-friendly bow.

A short time later, the Bear Whitetail Maxx arrived. This bow costs about half as much as any other bow I'm testing this year, so I was excited to get it set up and see how it shoots.

In this video, I go over the set up process, give the bow a quick tune, talk about draw cycle, and see how fast it is by running it through my chronograph.
