SNOW in the DRIEST PLACE ON EARTH: Atacama Desert Day 1

We spent the morning and early afternoon exploring the unqiue town of San Pedro before heading out to the Los Flamencos National Reserve to in hope of getting a closer look at the flamingos. The reserve is just over 90 a minute drive so it shouldn't have been difficult to get there, the roads were good and the sun was shining. However after about an hour the weather changed and we were hit by a snow storm and had to turn back.
