Filmed back in March, my ex-girlfriend (now darling best friend) Emily and I finally sat down and discussed what we haven't in years - our relationship, or, as better defined in our conversation, our "premium friendship” LMAO.

We discussed the origins of our friendship that started freshman year of college 7 years ago (WHAT), the transition into becoming potentially romantically interested in each other (haha), making it “official” late fall semester of our sophomore year, the Valentine’s Day kiss that never was 💔🥲🤣, breaking up in the midst of the pandemic 😷, the aftermath of our breakup, the distance and unintentional “fallout” we had our final two years of college, the people we evolved into in our time apart, seeing each other more in postgrad life 🧑‍🎓, the bonding Florida vacation we had in summer 2024 🏝️, our now blooming friendship 🌸, and the recognition that we’ve both just always had such great respect and love for one another 🩷🩷🩷.

Emily, thank you for being so open and vulnerable with me. Our willingess to share with each other in the honest fashion that we did warms my heart so. I’m so very blessed to have you in my life.
