Paisley Telecaster | Certano T-Bender | Amazing Grace

Описание к видео Paisley Telecaster | Certano T-Bender | Amazing Grace

I recently installed ‪@DavidCertano‬'s T-Bender (B & G Bender Bridge) in my 1996 MIJ Paisley Telecaster. The installation was extremely easy and required no modifications to the guitar. Once installed, setting up the guitar was no problem, and adjusting and tuning the T-Bender was equally simple.

The bigger challenge has been learning to play this crazy new thing! This video shows where I'm at after about a week of ocassional practice. What I've discovered, is that with the G-bender arm tilted up at nearly a 45 degree angle, I can easily activate it with a motion similar to moving my hand into a palm muting position. The B-bender arm has been a bit trickier to get used to because it is positioned closer to my fingers and requires me to collapse my hand a bit when I press it.

On the whole, I have to say that I think it was a worthwhile addition to this Telecaster and is quite fun to play. And at least so far, it scratches that itch enough that I think I'll avoid the maddening process of trying to learn pedal steel. And let's be honest, the last thing I need is another instrument.

Instruments used:

1996 Fender MIJ Pink Paisley Telecaster
1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass
1990 Ken Stika Dreanought Guitar
