okayokayokay, so this song is about my fear of the apocalypse. i don't know how to explain better than my description that i put on bandcamp, so:

"this song is about my fear of apocalypses. within the fiction of the song's world, actually, an apocalypse (caused by poor management of the world's resources, climate change due to poor management of the world's industry, etc) already happened. the song is about a more deliberate culling of the herd, and the rebellion against that. the rich have taken their resources and fled to their safe havens, and those less fortunate are deemed to die- there's too many people on this earth, so the best way to replenish our resources is to kill most of its population, right?

...it's a bit extreme. i don't believe this is ever going to actually happen, but an apocalypse is an apocalypse, and the one i'm actually worried about is not necessarily so far off. i'd like to prevent or delay that one, if we could."
