Will God Run? - Keith Parker leads us through the parable of the rebellious son, discussing the downward spiraling pattern that make him a "prodigal" son. Selfishness leads to Sin, which leads to Starvation. The son selfishly demands his father give him the inheritance, the son, goes away to the city, spends all of his money on wild, extravagant living. He runs out of money which leads him to the starvation state. Duly humbled, the son decides to return home to ask his father's forgiveness, his father, waiting for his return, runs to meet the son. Keith points out God is waiting for us to return to Him as well, and will joyously run to welcome us home from the city of sin with open arms. The story often called the prodigal son is really the story of the fantastic Father.
