 The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is a family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather, stealth multirole combat aircraft, designed for ground-attack and air-superiority missions. The aircraft was developed and is built by Lockheed Martin and its subcontractors, which include Northrop Grumman, Pratt & Whitney, and BAE Systems. The F-35 has three main variants: the conventional takeoff and landing F-35A (CTOL), the short take-off and vertical-landing F-35B (STOVL), and the carrier-based F-35C (CV). While the The Chengdu J-20 is a single-seat, twinjet, all-weather, stealth fifth-generation fighter aircraft developed by China's Chengdu Aerospace Corporation for the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). The J-20 is designed as an air superiority fighter with precision strike capability;
 The F-35 Lighting II is a multirole platform that can adapt to any task it’s called on to compete. The F-35 can reconfigure to carry the right combination of weapons to return any day of the battle it’s needed – in stealth mode or full beast mode. The Chengdu J-20 as a challenger could proves a worthy opponent for the first fifth generation fighter jet to gain operational status for the Chinese.
