Yes! Back to #roadcycling. After a week without, due to preparation for the half marathon (    • THE NN EGMOND HALVE MARATHON — MY RACE VLOG   ), I couldn’t wait to jump back on my road bike to tackle some miles! In the end, those 2023 miles will go a lot faster on a bike than running. Anyways! In today's cycling vlog, I am bringing you to my favorite coastal bike lane on the North Sea Cycle Route! It starts at Wassenaarse Slag and runs all the way to Katwijk through a nature preserve called Bergheide. Especially the climb from Wassenaarse Slag is truly amazing. It’s hard to capture it with a camera, but the panoramas from the bike at the top of the dune are amazing! My entire ride along the coast today is part of the bigger North Sea Cycle Route. The North Sea Cycle Route runs through the countries of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, England, and Scotland. With over 6000km in total distance, this is one of the more challenging cycling routes out there. More information can be obtained from the official North Sea Cycle Route site at: www.northsea-cycle.com.
