Located on Kalimdor's eastern shore is a place called Durotar, named for Thrall's father, Durotan. It has borders with the Azsharan coastal regions to the north and the Northern Barrens to the west. Similar to Draenor, the home of the orcs, Durotar is a rocky place with crimson, fractured dirt. There are numerous craggs and canyons in the area, home to deadly animals. It is an extremely arid, hot, and barren terrain with little flora.
