The National Theatre has slapped a trigger warning on Shakespeare’s Hamlet – warning audiences of “coercive behaviour,” suicide, madness and violence.

The iconic tragedy, directed by Robert Hastie and set to run later this year, tells the story of Prince Hamlet’s descent into madness after his uncle Claudius murders his father, steals the throne and marries his mother.

One of the greatest works in English literature, now being flagged for “upsetting themes.”

Speaking to Popular Conservatism's Andrew Allison, Talk's Kevin O'Sullivan says: "What is this crazy wokery!"
