Plastic straw materials are essentially designed to last for ever… for products that’s are meant to be thrown away after a couple of minutes…..
You Know what? Its never gonna go away!
We created this culture around thrown away plastics. just use it one time and throw it away.
Less than 10% plastics used in the world are recycled. The rest end up in landfills, they end up in our oceans or worse.

32 million tons a year which winds up in the environment and about eight 8 million tons winds up in the ocean.
That’s the equivalent of 5 plastic shopping bags filled with garbage for every foot of coastline in the world.
Straws Cannot be recycled. All the straws that are already polluting our environment most definitely can not be recycled.
The fact that one straw stays in the environment for over 200 years and you use that straw for may be, 5 minutes…..
Every day there are enough straws that get used to get wrapped around the entire planet twice.
What happens to the plastic when it gets in the environment; It can get eaten by fish, and then we eat the fish.
Now we have to stop talking about recycling, so much, and we need businesses and individuals to actually take action and change the ways that we do things.
Remember, we have the power to change!
Every time we suck through a plastic straw, we’re sucking the life out of our oceans.
