In this channel we will put to the test the latest video AI generation technologies.
After trying the latest models (Kling 2.5 Video AI, Sora 2 Video AI, Gork Video AI, Wan 2.2 Video AI, and Veo 3 Video AI) we will focus on Veo 3 in the next videos. In our opinion, Veo 3's capacity to generate video and audio, and to keep the coherence of the characters, make it slightly superior to the rest. But the competition is currently very tight, with new models out almost every week.
In this week's AI video, we put Google Veo 3.1 to the ultimate test. Our primary goal was to maintain character consistency across the entire film, and we leveraged Veo's "Ingredients" feature to do this. As you'll see, characters like Hercules and the Amazon Queen retain their distinctive looks and characteristics throughout the various scenes.
However, we faced three significant challenges during production:
VEO's strict Content Policies: We repeatedly encountered policy violation messages. The thresholds appear to be set very high, as even remotely suggestive or violent content in the prompts would trigger a block.
VEO Character Confusion: Directing specific character actions was a consistent hurdle. The model often struggled to follow instructions on who should be doing what, repeatedly confusing Hercules with the monsters he was fighting in several clips.
VEO Action Sequence Limitations: Our biggest challenge was generating compelling fight scenes. Despite numerous prompt variations, the results fell short of the dynamic action we were aiming for. We believe this may be a current limitation of the model itself, rather than a prompt engineering issue.
We'll continue to experiment, but for now, this is the result we achieved. Stay tuned for a brand new video next week
AI Technology used:
1.- DEEPSEEK: for generating the script and the video AI prompts.
2.- NANO BANANA: to create some scenes and the logo.
3.- VEO 3.1: was used to generate the video clips. We upscaled the clips, downloaded them, and used DaVinci Resolve to edit the final video.
4.- VOICEGENERATOR.IO: for the voice-over
