FACTOR168 Creative Event Company were engaged to provide strategic, creative, and tactical event solutions for a series of bespoke corporate incentive events for 600+ VIP guests staged within Ha Noi Vietnam on behalf of one:fortyseven communications.

The event series featured key segments - The Welcome, and the Gala with the thematic thread of Ha Noi, Vietnam's Cultural Heartbeat.

Following twelve months of extensive negotiations the famous Ha Noi Opera House was secured as the site for the Welcome celebratory events. The real coup however was securing the notoriously exclusive services of nation's leading musicians in the form of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) and their accomplished conductor Kim Xuan Hieu.

The Welcome program featured a number of world-class classical performances by the VNSO and special guest artist performances. This included leading contemporary dancing duo Leigh Sleightholme and Brittany Daenell and powerful event-bookending performances by Opera Diva Madame Stephanie Acraman.

Amongst a star-studded program however was a very special treat. A rare performance by Vietnam's youngest violin virtuoso, the internationally acclaimed and mesmerizing Do Phuong Nhi.

Despite the heightened cultural sensitivities that understandably came with staging a corporate Gala event within the grounds of the historical 'French School' across the National Unification Holidays -- the commissioned event experience was heralded a huge success by all including the legendarily difficult to please government officials.

This active 'French' high school was fully transformed into an elaborately stylized outdoor event site never before seen with the installation of rows upon rows of Parisian styled 'gas' streetlights along with a massive performance stage footprint. In addition the site also accommodated extensive major event facilities including themed toilet blocks, kitchens for a four-course menu for 600+ guests, a massive green room compound, power generator farm, large scale production support including extensive lighting design work, and a spectacular guests entry-journey experience.

The program included a huge armada of coordinated motorbikes, four huge festive flag waving performers, eighteen beautiful bicycle riders making table deliveries of French breads and bouquets of flowers from the Ha Noi flower market, and an incredible surprise performance by over fifty heart pounding Viet drummers.

The program also featured creative performances by twenty-four elite members of the National Dance Academy choreographed by Katie Kermond and Wayne Scott-Kermond. These highly stylized and distinctly costumed performances also featured international dance sensation Shannon O'Shea, speed artist Blaze, and a special commissioned performance by sand artist master Brett Bower.

The headline act throughout the evening were the very popular Mademoiselle et son Orchestre direct from Beijing. This eclectic band of musicians who hail from Quebec, the USA, China, and France specialize in an infectious form of gypsy jazz -- perfect for this event.

Guests were spoilt with a selection of local Vietnamese and international cuisine prepared by the fabulous hospitality team from the Sofitel Metropole.

While guests dined and enjoyed this spectacular bespoke program, a crew of twenty plus artisans transformed the stark black and white stage set into a vibrantly colorful and evolving set look into artistic snapshots of Ha Noi life.
