It should be obvious that when undersized cables or the right size but not genuine cables are used,you'll have scenarios like this ones where on heavy power usage,the cable will be unable to carry the load which will make the cable hot and it will later melt as we see in this video. In our case, the cable was not genuine and so it was unable to carry the load back to the meter.
