𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆
Yun Sim-deok was born on July 25, 1897 and became Korea's first professional soprano singer. After graduating in 1914, she taught in a school for about a year then she went to Japan. In Japan she would met and fall in love with a married English literature student, Kim U-jin, with whom she had an affair. After graduating from Tokyo Music School she returned to Korea, where she made her debut as a soprano in 1923. In Japan 1926 Yun recorded her most famous song "The Praise Of Death//The Hymn Of Death"
Yun and Kim U-jin committed suicide together in 1926, jumping off of a passenger ship en route from Shimonoseki(Japan) to Busan(South Korea)

𝗠𝘆 𝗢𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻
This story is really sad in my opinion because this is not something you can just brush off with the excuse that it's fiction, because this drama is based off a real life tragic love story. Many people have said they don't like the ending of the drama, but this is something that can never be changed because in the end it was their decision and honestly we don't have the right to respond whether they made the correct decision or not. I just honestly hope there is a next life, so this two beautiful souls can just be happily together. I think this drama is really unique because it really portrays that not everyone can actually have a "Happy-Forever-After" I wish this drama was more recognized and I am really happy I found this drama.
