Having obtained the Premier Prix avec distinction and the Diplôme supérieur (1976) he graduated at the Robert Schumann Conservatory in Düsseldorf.
Since 1983, Stamm has been a freelance organist and composer living in Leverkusen. In that timehe was written many pieces for organ, works for voice, various instrument combinations, pieces for solo instruments, and a few orchestral works, among which a concerto for the organ. The pieces heard today are a selection from Stamm’s Ten Pieces for Flute and Organ, which he composed in 2010.
