BavariaDirekt implemented Camunda as an orchestration layer to better control and automate its business processes. While replacing its legacy system with Camunda, the team also re-engineered its legacy processes.

One of these processes was for insurance rescission, which involves the retroactive cancellation of an insurance policy and return of paid premiums. The team leveraged Camunda’s REST API connectors to connect older and newer systems across processes from end to end. This streamlined workflows and solved for aging, legacy, and disconnected architecture.
