Campus novel or academic novel is a novel set in and around the campus of a university. The campus novel dates back to the 1950s. the campus novels are about middle class heroes. Most campus novels are written by novelists who are also academicians.

Graphic novel
Graphic novel is a book made up of comic content. It is an offshoot of the adult comic culture, where the story is told mainly in pictures. Though fiction refers to long fictional works, the term ‘graphic novel’ includes fiction, non-fiction and anthologized work.
