Cato Pass Pt 9 - Gaugemaster Shuttle

Описание к видео Cato Pass Pt 9 - Gaugemaster Shuttle

Adding the Gaugemaster Shuttle to my analogue track, so as to automate one lane.

I have two other lanes (running opposite directions) that are linked running off of a manual feel from my Gaugemaster D dual controller (this is not a fast/powerful as a Hornby HM 2000 and both units buzz slightly).

It cost £32 (2015 prices). It should run from any controller with the same sort of outputs but I chose a Gaugemaster one to make sure. So you would have to check with a shop that sold you it. You can control the amount of time between shuttle runs from about 20 seconds to over a minute - there is an adjustment screw. You don't actually have to cut a gap in the track. I just used a natural join and put in a plastic fishplate there as on the video. The main thing is that no electrical contact is made, and the track is only joined by the diode.

Music is Follow That Camel by Eat Static.
