Former That 70’s Show actor Danny Masterson has been transferred to the same prison that once housed cult leader Charles Manson.

Masterson was initially sentenced back in September 2023 to 30 years to life after being convicted of raping two women.

The 47-year-old was moved from North Kern State Prison in Delano, California to Corcoran State Prison, California, on Monday.

Masterson is likely to spend the rest of his prison term at Corcoran and won’t be eligible for parole until 2042 when he will be 66 years old.

The actor will reportedly be housed in Corcoran’s Level Four unit, which is considered to have the highest tier of security in the prison.

Masterson will also be watched 24/7 by prison staff in case he displays signs of “mental distress”.

If the 47-year-old does show signs of distress or is in danger, he would then be moved to Corcoran’s Protective Housing unit.

Cult leader Charles Manson, who died in 2017 aged 83, was also housed in the Protective Housing unit for nearly ten years.

Robert F Kennedy’s killer, Sirhan, was at Corcoran on two separate occasions, as was The Dating Game Killer, Rodney Alcala, before he died in 2021.
