This is a preview that samples selections from the special presentation "Vacation and other remedies," a showcase of the animation of Andrey Kasay, presented for 10 days at the MCA Denver in their upstairs Idea Box in association with Supernova 2018 Reality Bytes. The collaboration with the Museum was the result of a 4 week summer workshop I gave for the institutions MCA Teens program, divulging the ins and outs of curating digital animation. Kasay's animation is seemingly fashioned for adults but through the angle of animation that I felt had a strong appeal to teenage sensibilities, combining rye humor with abstract ideas and compositions unlike anything else in the field. Kasay's work was also presented in the official Reality Bytes program presented on the day of Supernova on the 14th and Champa LED screen. Preview was composed and edited by Ivar Zeile.
