Alan Stubbs led Hibernian into the 2016 Scottish Cup final aiming to score a victory over a club that had won the trophy on 33 occasions and, more importantly, end Hibs fans' 114-year wait to see their team lift the trophy.

Forward Anthony Stokes – on loan from Celtic at the time – got Stubbs' side off to the perfect start, with an expertly placed strike after just three minutes, but the sides went in level at half time thanks to an equaliser from Rangers striker Kenny Miller.  And it was Mark Warburton's side that struck first after the restart, when Andy Halliday drove a fierce shot past Conrad Logan in the Hibs' goal to put Rangers 2-1 ahead with less than 30 minutes to play.

But Hibernian regathered themselves to score two set-piece goals late on – a second from Stokes and the winner from David Gray – and seal a historic victory.

Here, Stubbs talks exclusively to The Coaches' Voice about the tactical approach he took to a game that meant so much to the Hibernian fans.
