WATCH: Dan Scavino’s full speech at the Republican National Convention | 2020 RNC Night 4

Dan Scavino spoke on the final night of the Republican National Convention on Aug. 27, 2020. Scavino said President Donald Trump achieved “the lowest unemployment rate for almost all demographic groups -- Black americans, hispanic Americans, women, and so many more.” The unemployment rate for women reached an all-time low in 1953, while the next all-time low happened in February of 2020. For Black Americans, the all-time low was in September of 2019. The party planned a mix of virtual and in-person events in North Carolina and Washington, D.C., for its nominating convention after the coronavirus pandemic interrupted plans for a traditional nominating event.
