Well, this is a first here on #SuperOldGameSaturday. Proterova, BloodSpiceMoon, Nocturne and I got together to do the finale of Lunar Silver Star Story Complete and fix Proterova's Disc 2 so we could finish it, but even the mighty Data Doctor was no match for the label-side damage that we found it to have. I bought another Disc 2 off of eBay so we can finally finish that game on April 6th at 1 PM EST, but for this week's show, the four of us decided to make a Last Minute Showcase of 4 original Xbox games and 4 PlayStation 1 games of interest to us and hopefully to you. We usually do the Showcase programs on Thanksgiving weekend (and we'll continue that tradition on November 30th), but our guests were willing to adjust quickly and on-the-fly (for the most part) to bring this unique show to the best chat on Twitch and all of you. The timestamps for all of the games we played are below, covering a group of big name games/series making their #SuperOldGameSaturday debuts here, as well as some hidden gems worth a look and, of course, open for future shows covering them fully. From fighting games to shooters to hack-and-slash games to platformers and even some sports, we have quite a good variety for you here, including some multiplayer goodness with myself, Proterova, BloodSpiceMoon and Nocturne and, as always, discussions on our and your experiences with these games, insights and what we saw, BloodSpiceMoon's tribute to the late Akira Toriyama and much more.
