হাসপাতালে নেই পর্যাপ্ত চিকিৎসক। বছরের পর বছর অচলাবস্থায় পড়ে আছে এমআরআই ও সিটিস্ক্যান মেশিন। রক্ত পরীক্ষা আর এক্স-রে করতেও যেতে হয় বাইরের ক্লিনিকে। অথচ এ ভঙ্গুর পরিবেশ নিয়ে ২০২১ সালে দেশের চিকিৎসাসেবায় দ্বিতীয় স্থান অর্জন করে হাসপাতালটি। বলছি, দিনাজপুরের এম আব্দুর রহিম মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালের কথা। যেখানে ঠাকুরগাঁও, পঞ্চগড় নীলফামারীসহ বিভিন্ন জেলা থেকে প্রতিদিন চিকিৎসাসেবা নিতে আসেন হাজারও মানুষ। দ্রুত জনবল সংকটসহ সব সমস্যার সমাধান চান হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ।

There are not enough doctors in the hospital. MRI and CTscan machines have been standing still for years. Blood tests and x-rays also have to be done at an outside clinic. But with this fragile environment, the hospital won the second place in the country's medical services in 2021. I am talking about M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital in Dinajpur. Where thousands of people come from various districts including Thakurgaon, Panchagarh Nilphamari to get medical services every day. The hospital authorities want to solve all problems including manpower shortage quickly.
