FORT LEBOEUF MUSEUM TOUR: FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR HISTORY LESSON! (4K)

Описание к видео FORT LEBOEUF MUSEUM TOUR: FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR HISTORY LESSON! (4K)

My niece and I were fortunate to have gotten a private tour of the Fort LeBoeuf Museum in Waterford, PA., in Erie County. The museum details the history of the French and Indian War, also known as The Seven Years' War, especially as it relates to this area. The tour included both the inside of the museum, with various exhibits, as well as an outside area, which features what may be the only statue of George Washington in the world in a British uniform! This extremely informative and educational tour was given to us by former history teacher and Vice President of the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society, Don Pearce. Also, special thanks to Jim Edwards, President of the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society, and VisitErie, the tourism promotion agency for Erie County, who arranged this tour and who are sponsoring this video. When planning your visit to Erie to see Erie's museums and attractions, please check out their website, https://www.visiterie.com!
