When Keana and Dylan told us about their favorite place on earth, a hard-to-reach valley on Hawaii's north shore, we knew that this was going to be a special shoot. We just didn't prepare ourselves for how magical and sacred it really was. We decided to title this film, Alohana, to blend the two Hawaiian words, "Aloha" and "Ohana" which generally mean love and family. But they are terms that carry greater meaning for those living in the islands. We hope this film can convey some of that deeper, profound truth.
