A Fix for the 3000GT Digital Climate Control

This is just a short video I took of the digital climate control in my 1993 3000GT VR4 after I got the display back from the repair shop. Instructions on Removal of the Climate Control can be found in the links below.

1. Disconnect Negative Battery terminal in the engine bay. You need to know your Radio Code in order to get around the security feature. If you don't know it, you can request it here: https://www.mitsubishicars.com/owners.... I can't guarantee this link is legit, but it appears to be a Mitsubishi site. 3. Remove the Center dash vents by following Steps 4 and 5 of: http://www.stealth316.com/2-dashpanel... or https://www.3swiki.org/Electrical:_Re...
4. Remove the rectangular control unit I mentioned in the video. It is mounted under the Display. Just unbolt it, it can be a real pain though. Some people just cut off the white plastic pieces holding it in place, but I would try your best not to do this.
5. Then you can slide the climate control out the bottom and pull it out where the radio use to be.
