There are four "Extra" challenges in the game that don't fall under the game's "Challenge" heading for whatever reason (two have the usual medals to earn, while the other two don't).

Nocturnal Hunter is one of those challenges that I'll try to complete (i.e. all medals), but that's about it. You can see this here in that I don't bother to keep trying to improve my highest score after I get all the medals. (It's also because the first time I tried this challenge, it gave me all sorts of trouble.) The pure combat challenges are the ones that are the most fun for me.
