Today's True Crime Video covers the SOLVEDish Case of Darlie Routier.

On June 6, 1996 Darlie Routier claims to have woken struggling with an assailant while he held a knife to her throat. The intruder then supposedly fled from her home through her kitchen, her utility room and finally her garage. Once the man was gone Darlie realized that she and her two oldest sons had been brutally attacked and were in desperate need of medical attention. Darlie screamed for her husband before calling 911 but sadly her two oldest boys would succumb to their injuries before the paramedics could get them to the hospital.

An investigation was launched and police were determined to bring to justice the monster responsible for this heinous act.

But what no one expected was who police would determine that monster to be.

This is the story of Darlie Routier.
