It might be easy to think that buying expensive D&D terrain and miniatures will make your Dungeons & Dragons game better. After all, we see famous dungeon masters on D&D shows using fancy Dwarven Forge terrain and cool minis, right? So shouldn't sinking hundreds of dollars into terrain and minis for our RPG and D&D games make a dungeon master's game as amazing as those shows? Not necessarily.
