Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game featuring various heroes and villains from the DC Universe. The game is being developed by NetherRealm Studios for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U and is slated for a 2013 release.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game featuring characters from the DC Universe, such as Superman and Batman. Ed Boon, creative director of NetherRealm Studios, stated that characters will fall into two character categories: power and gadget users.Each arena, based on locations such as the Batcave and Fortress of Solitude, has various areas that players can knock their opponents into and multiple objects that can be used differently depending on the fighter's class. For example, a gadget user like Batman can fire projectiles at a car to cause an explosion, whilst powerful characters like Superman can pick up the same car and smash their opponent with it. Certain fighters have more than one fighting style, such as Nightwing's ability to switch between a staff and a pair of eskrima sticks.

As players fight, they build a meter that can be used to perform damaging combos or a powerful super move. The gauges are unique to each character and are utilized differently. For instance, Wonder Woman uses meter to switch between two fighting styles, while Solomon Grundy utilizes it for an array of grapple moves. Players can also compete in wager battles, dubbed the "Clash" system, which combines individualized cutscene cinematics with the process of betting portions of super meter. The winner steals power from his or her opponent's meter.
