Claire Simeone - Failing Forward to Success

Claire Simeone, DVM is a Marine Veterinarian and the first veterinarian to become a TED Fellow! So you can imagine how excited I was to talk with her. Additionally, Claire is a Marine Veterinarian, which in itself is a small, difficult field to succeed within the profession. How did she succeed? She credits the term, "failing forward." Here she talks about how her journey into what she thought was to become a Zoo Veterinarian led her down her current path. She also discussed the importance of mentorship and how finding those that have travelled a path similar to hers really helped her get to where she is.
