Spanish Tortilla Recipe | Spanish Omelette | Easy Breakfast Recipes Using Eggs | How To make Spanish Omelette

Spanish Tortilla or Spanish Omelette is an easy to make breakfast dish that can be made in less than 15 minutes. Spanish tortilla is traditionally made with eggs, potatoes, and optionally, onions or cheese.

Ingredients for Spanish tortilla:

Eggs - 5
Potatoes - 4-6
Onion -1
Oil - 100 ml approx

Directions:
Thinly slice onions and potatoes and set aside.
Slightly beat the eggs and set aside.
Heat oil and fry onions until slightly caramelized.
Add potatoes and fry until cooked through.
While the potato-onion mixture is still hot, add it to the egg. The heat in the onion and potato will slightly cook the eggs and thicken.
Heat about 2 tsp and add the egg mixture.
Cook covered on high flame for about a minute, then lower the flame and cook for two more minutes.
Flip onto a plate and carefully slide the omelette onto the pan and cook the other side for two more minutes.
Flip over onto a plate. Serve at room temperature.
